Hi Pre-Pharms:
We have received some information on the Special Olympics bowling tournament if any of you are interested in helping out. It will be held on Nov 11,12,13 (Wed-Fri) at Bandera Bowl. You may help out for any shift on any day that you choose. This does count as off-campus community service as well!
Morning shift from 10:30am-12:30/1pm (Be there between 9:30 and 9:45am)
Afternoon shift from 1:30pm-3:30/4pm (Be there between 12:30 and 12:45 pm)
The ending times depend on the athletes in your lanes. The athletes are bowling two games. If you want to work all day, they will serve you a lunch. Volunteers will be either a lane assistant, scorekeeper or helping out with awards. Everyone will be given training when they sign-in. The registration form is attached so that it can be filled out ahead of time and brought on the day of competition. It will save time at registration. Even though it says 2008, it's good for 2009. Also, everyone will need to bring a picture ID.
